Interesting information on this webpage. Thinking of submitting a patent. need to be willing to consent production of product, otherwise, I'll be wasting my time and money.

NO MORE SECRETS!
Turns out that the internet is no place to be sharing my theses. I will will be more than happy to supply articles and other odd things that I come about, but I will keep my ideas to myself until it is certain I can patent stuff.

Light Pollution Thoughts
This past weekend has definitely been one that I won't soon forget... Back on topic! To dissipate light over a given distance to reduce light pollution, seems all but real now. I'm slowly working on the physics and will hope to share my findings on this blog. Assuming of course, that I actually anyone reads this. In either case, thank you for reading!
I need a super awesome name for this invention...

Sketches: Starcraft Protoss Carrier
I've started making some sketches for what I want this model to actually represent. Not sure if I want to make the side panel removable and give people the view of the inner workings of a Protoss Carrier or actually make the model fly! I feel it is more within my budget to have a nice internal view. I shall wait, maybe make the Mothership capable of flying ^_^

Long-term Project: Starcraft Protoss Carrier
I've decided that I will make a model of the Starcraft Protoss Carrier based on the super awesome painting by Peter Lee '07.

This project will be on a fairly large scale, not too large though. I'm thinking around the length of four feet to maybe six feet. Will definitely be fun designing the inner components and getting the material necessary to construct this.
Pray for me that I actually complete this.

Following Through on Projects
I really need to follow through on a project. Not only have I neglected my awesome lighting for my bookshelf, it's become a place to store whatever doesn't fit on my coffee table! I am looking at installing a new television in my bedroom and maybe get a dresser or some sort of furniture to take up the large empty wall space. Will need to run a cable line the length of my apartment to operate the cable box correctly. Question is, what size of television to look into. I currently have a 42" in my living area. Would not mind mounting a 50" in the bedroom. This I will decide on, later! I need to organize my bookshelf and get the lighting array set up because it's been bothering me for the last four months!

Interactive Television
Today was a boring day, so I decided to amp up my television by combining an old laptop of mine that was going to be recycled because the screen was cracked. NO MORE! I set up the connection to allow a very nice 1366 x 768 on my 40" Toshiba television. Along with that, I dusted off my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse to make one awesome interactive television. Although, there is an issue with the wireless capabilities of the wireless keyboard. For some reason the keyboard will only type when in the same plane as the receiver, not to mention the limited range. The wireless mouse works just fine. I will look into boosting the signal from the keyboard and broaden the reception of the receiver. Other than that, the system looks and performs amazingly.
Few more additions are in the plans. A unified mass storage device. Looking into getting one that will not crash on me like my 250GB hard drive I had many years ago. I need something that will connect with my fancy router. Also, looking into getting a 5.1 channel surround sound system for the television. I can't imagine it working too well with the laptop, only because I have a simple 3.5mm audio jack that will allow only stereo sound. Which I don't mind because I want the system for my LG Blu-Ray player and DVR systems.

Multi-Color Bookshelf
I've decided my newest project for my apartment. I'm going to incorporate a rainbow-style lighting for my bookshelf. There are only five compartments so I will be using five of the six primary colors at a time. The lights will cycle through all six colors, but the effect will look as if the color scheme is traveling downward ^_^ I think I found something worth looking into.
The problem I see is that the lighting will be coming from the top of the shelf and there will be only two stable shelves, while the other shelves will be free to move around as they please. I will need to take this into consideration in case I decide to make some extra space.
I will be using the pins that hold up each shelf as a guide rail. The lights will be positioned on the front corners of each shelf allowing the light to shine backward towards the items. Thinking about a twenty second delay between each color transition.
